Looking After Your Health Matters – physiotherapy can help

We often neglect our health and focus on other urgent things, but when our wellbeing is compromised, everything else becomes more difficult.

We recognise that the body, mind, and emotional health are all linked. At our Huntingdon physiotherapy clinic, we aim to support you in each of these areas.

Body

Good physical function requires effort and, at times, professional input. Whether it’s joint pain, reduced mobility, or injury, getting help early can make a real difference.

Mind

Living with ongoing discomfort can take its toll mentally. Regaining physical ease often brings a sense of relief and clarity.

Spirit

How we feel in ourselves is closely tied to how we feel in our bodies. Addressing pain can help restore a greater sense of steadiness and energy.

Our Approach to Physiotherapy

We want your experience with us to be as smooth and supportive as possible. Our focus is on making things straightforward and comfortable, from beginning to end.

A Warm Welcome

You’ll be welcomed by our admin team and offered a drink while you wait. The waiting area is open, light, and calm – designed to put you at ease. Our clinicians are experienced, courteous, and professional at all times.

Our aim is to provide high-quality physiotherapy, delivered with care, consistency, and attention to detail.

A relaxing and peaceful environment

Our story – physiotherapy in Abbots Ripton

A Local Practice with Longstanding Roots

Cambridgeshire Sports Physio and Back Care was set up in 2004 by Sara and Matt Taylor in the village of Abbots Ripton, just outside Huntingdon. At the time, they were a young family looking to build a small, community-focused clinic that combined clinical expertise with a personal approach.

A Simple Start

The first treatment room was in their cottage; the lounge served as the waiting area. It was a modest start, but it allowed the practice to grow naturally around the needs of local people.

Over time, the clinic expanded. We now have a small team of experienced physiotherapists and massage therapists, offering evidence-based treatments in a calm, professional setting. We continue to serve clients from across Huntingdonshire and the wider Cambridgeshire area.

While the setting may have changed, the underlying principles remain the same: good care, thoughtfully delivered.

Call us

If you have a concern about your physical health – whether it’s a recent injury or something that’s been troubling you for a while – feel free to get in touch. We’ll do our best to point you in the right direction.
