Our story
Cambridgeshire Sports Physio and Back Care: A Journey of Care and Growth
In the idyllic village of Abbots Ripton in 2004, a delightful story unfolded. Sara and Matt Taylor, a young couple with two young children, embarked on a daunting and exciting adventure – setting up their first business. Settling into one of the many beautiful and historic cottages of Abbots Ripton, they turned their energies to opening a physio clinic that worked around family life. They established Cambridgeshire Sports Physio and Back Care in the hope of creating a thriving clinic that offered quality physio treatment to the community.
In those early days, Sara was the sole physiotherapist, transforming the front room of their cottage into the treatment room. Meanwhile, their cozy lounge served as the waiting room. Memorable tales of Matt and Sara’s five-year-old son, welcoming visitors with politeness and guiding them to the waiting area (under the watchful eyes of his parents, of course). And within that waiting room, the unsuspecting client might have been greeted by their two-year-old daughter, clutching a cherished book, insisting she be read to immediately – the irresistible demands of a curious mind!
