The Team

Sara Taylor

Sara, our lead physiotherapist, studied at Salford Uni and has been a chartered physio for over 30 years. She has worked as a senior clinician in a number of hospitals, both NHS and private. As well as treating clients, Sara now oversees the training and development of all the physio’s on the team and assists with particularly difficult cases. She recently became a member of the International Fascia Research Society and has spent a lot of effort and time studying fascia, a type of connective tissue that is an integral part of our structure; while doing this, she has developed a particular interest in lumbo-pelvic function. She has also recently attended a number of training courses with Joanne Elphinston, learning more about movement patterns and how to treat long-term musculoskeletal problems in innovative ways. Outside running the clinic, she is the mother of two adult children (always busy there!), loves reading, and spending time outdoors, either cycling or weekend walks with the family.

Gina Santos

Gina is from the “strikingly beautiful country of the Philippines”. She graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the Philippines, which has a strong tradition of hands on treatment. She is registered as a member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and with the Health Care Professional Council, UK. Her obvious qualities of thoughtfulness, generosity and fun are underpinned with ambition and professionalism – she is a joy to work with.

She is happily married with 2 sons and in her spare time likes reading short stories, watching YouTube about life, meeting up with other mums together with their kids, and most importantly, spending time with my love ones.

Matt Taylor

Matt is a psychotherapist, coach and mindfulness teacher. He is passionate about supporting personal growth and development. He worked as a minister of religion after studying microbiology at university. He then trained to be a hypnotherapist in 2006 and a mindfulness teacher in 2014. More recently Matt trained as a Transactional Analyst (TA) Psychotherapist and is the co-founder and host of the TA podcast, 3 People in Your Head.

In his spare time, Matt likes to spend time with family and enjoys the challenge of staying fit, despite “sitting on his backside for a living”, by cycling, walking the family dog, and going to the gym a few times per week. He also loves all things about cars, especially motorsport.

Sue Custerson

She is responsible for keeping many aspects of the practice running smoothly and ensuring the clinic is as clean, tidy and as inviting as ever. You’ll be assured of a warm welcome and friendly smile when you arrive.

Sammy Rothery

She is part of the Admin team at the Abbots Ripton Clinic and if your appointment is on a Wednesday or Friday, it will be her friendly face welcoming you when you arrive. She also runs our social media accounts, so if you have any queries regarding our posts, she’s the woman to speak to.
